Dual Membership and the Vanguard Explained
What is Dual Membership?
In its essence, Dual Membership allows TG members to be part of both TW and TA at the same time. Do bear in mind you will not be able to dual enroll if the the TW and TA practice times clash. You can be staff in both TA and TW as long as your position is not Critical.
Critical Positions include:
Division / Legion Staff Public Relations Head Head Trainer Tactical Warfare Command Staff Tactical Adventures Command Staff TG Executive Committee Staff
If you are in a critical position you may be part of another franchise however you would be limited to the position of member. Something worth noting is that you cannot dual enroll in either League of Legends Legion or Destiny Legion with any Tactical Warfare Title, including TW Vanguard. If you wish to apply for Dual Membership please contact your direct CoC, make sure you had previously checked the PRACTICE TIMES for both franchises before applying to see if there are any clashes. What is the Vanguard?
Simply put, the Vanguard's purpose is to offer a home for players and games not currently represented by any Legion / Division within Tactical Gaming. Any member can propose a title and as long as they have a Squad / Section worth of members to join them, they can play under the TA or TW Vanguard banner.
To give you an idea of what titles the Vanguard Division / Legion will be accepting here are some of titles that have already been established:
Current TA Vanguard Games: - Minecraft (Java Edition)(PC Regiment) - Rocket League (Crossplay Regiment) Current TW Vanguard Games: - Hell Let Loose (PC Brigade) - Bullet Echo (Mobile Brigade) - Halo (Crossplay Brigade) - Outriders (Crossplay Brigade) - Star Wars: Squadrons (Crossplay Brigade)
If you wish to request a game which is not currently being supported by TG you can do so by copying THIS template and pasting your edited version HERE as a new topic. Do check that the game of which you wish to apply for hasn't already been requested by another member.

Cross-Play Coming Soon to Overwatch!
What are the requirements?
Console players will now need a Battle.net account linked to their Xbox, PSN or Nintendo account. If you are a PC player you don't have to worry as you should already have this.
What are the limitations?
You will be able to play with anyone no matter what device they are using to play on as long as they have a Battle.net account. Competitive will be split between console and PC. If you have accounts on multiple systems cosmetics, stats, SR will not be transferred between them. PC matchmaking will work with PC only but console players grouping with PC will be put in PC matchmaking pool. PC can not join console matchmaking, aim assist on consoles will be automatically disabled when in PC pool, but remain available in console pool. Cross and competitive (console only) the cross play competitive season will remain separate until the start of Season 29 on the 1st of July.
Do bear in mind that cross play can be turned off and that every account will get a Golden Loot box for every format they play the game on. If you have any further questions on this change please do check out the official post HERE as it includes all we know as of right now.

Join the News Team!
The act of writing is a very important human function and without writing we would not be where we are right now. Rather than glass towers we would still be living in the trees with the rest of nature. When you really look back and think about it, we have been writing for thousands of years. First on the walls of caves and eventually on digital paper-thin tablets which our ancestors would see as magic. But why? Why did we use the charcoal from our cave fires to draw pictures of our life? Maybe we wanted to share information or experiences with others. Maybe we wanted to help enlighten society and help advance not only ourselves, but others.. Or maybe it was a purely selfish reason, such as sharing a recipe with your mother-in-law because her meatloaf was too dry and tasteless.
The fact of the matter is that writing is why we currently enjoy our luxurious, western lifestyles. Again, throughout history, things had to be written for knowledge to be passed down from one generation to another. We can all thank the Islamic Caliphates that expertly wrote down records of many things and made copies upon copies of important texts related to math, science and medicine to name just a few. Those books and the limited remaining Roman texts that survived the barbarian invasions helped Europe rise from the crippling grip of the dark ages. This led to great kingdoms and empires rising and falling, all of them using the act of writing to maintain relationships, establishing state control and conducting everyday political business. This helped civilization as we know it advance and evolve.
Writing, which has helped us communicate through the years, has brought us to this wonderous point in time. We have used the knowledge that writing has brought us to harness technology which gives a community like this the ability to not only exist, but to thrive and grow. It is amazing to see where writing has brought us in the last 15,000 years. It is even more amazing to think about how communication will change because of the impact writing has established on human society. Will we always write things down? Will the sharing of knowledge get to such a powerful point in the future where we will eliminate the need to write? Only time will tell, but just keep in mind that for now, humans need to socialize with each other and if we ever lose the awesome ability to instantly text message someone, a handwritten letter will still do the trick, like it has for thousands of years!

TG's Newest Title: Hell Let Loose
Hell Let Loose is the newest title opened for the TW Vanguard Division. If you're interested in joining the squad, please ask your CoC to request a transfer to the TW Vanguard Division OR if you are in TA Vanguard, you can request dual enrollment into the TW Vanguard division.
Hell Let Loose is a multiplayer tactical first-person shooter that takes place on the western front during WWII. This is currently a PC title available on Steam with future plans to release on console and upcoming controller support. The matches are 50 v 50 (Germans vs Americans) with two different game modes: Warfare and Offensive. There are separate unit types for infantry, armored, and recon. Communication and teamwork are key elements with this game, and each unit can have an officer that can communicate with the officers from the other units in a leadership chat.
Reminder that other TW Vanguard titles include Halo, SW: Squadrons and Outriders.
