Call of Duty

INTRODUCTION:

When recruiting you want to highlight how an organized team can outperform the opponent. Utilize callouts, ping enemies, discuss tactics and work as a team. This alone will impress players and typically initiate a conversation about gamming clans and/or organizations. Even if the other players do not initiate a dialogue, during in-game play and towards the end of the match is the time you highlight how playing with teammates consistently and working together has not only improved your performance but also your enjoyment of the game (after all winning always increases the joy of the game).  While playing a match, verbally described what Tactical Gaming is about in your own words within a natural conversation (attempt to include the website address Tacticalgaming.net and/or TGHQ.ORG). Give it your best sales pitch!

The easiest way to commence a conversation can be as easily as asking a couple different questions:

  • How often do you play Call of Duty?
  • What game modes do you play in Call of Duty?
  • Have you thought about joining a community that plays Call of Duty?
  • You communicate well, are you in a gaming community for Call of Duty?

Through these questions above and many others you could ask, you can open a path to discussing Tactical Gaming.  Remember, we are looking for like-minded gamers that have the ability to communicate, use teamwork and have the time to commit to our community.  As you discuss Tactical Gaming don't be shy to throw in the dates and times we often play together as a community.

SOLO QUEUEING OR ADDING RANDOMS TO YOUR SQUAD DURING MATCHES:

When recruiting you want to highlight how an organized team can outperform the opponent. Utilize callouts, ping enemies, discuss tactics and work as a team. This alone will impress players and typically initiate a conversation about gamming clans and/or organizations. But even if the other players do not initiate a dialogue, towards the end of the match is the time you highlight how playing with teammates consistently and working together has not only improved your performance but also your enjoyment of the game (after all winning always increases the joy of the game).  After you have played a match and verbally described what Tactical Gaming is about (and stating the website address Tacticalgaming.com and/or TGHQ.ORG), it is time to get the friend requests sent!

If you are alone or with a squad and wish to recruit, try playing in public matches.  As a solo player, join any match with a working mic and make certain you have in-game communications functioning so you can speak with and even possibly direct your random squamates to an organized victory. During, or after the match, send you squamates a friend request as well as a "Whisper Message" with a composed message similar to that shown below (see quotes below).

If you are recruiting as a group trying to find randoms to join Tactical Gaming while in-game, make sure to leave at least one (but better to have multiple) vacant spot(s) open within your squad and have settings set to "fill".

QUICKLY ADD POTENTIAL MEMBERS TO YOUR FRIENDS LIST:

1). To add a player to your friends list after the match go to the "Social" section in the top right of the screen on PC or console.

2). Then navigate to "Recent" option in the upper middle portion of your screen:

OR

3). Locate the players name you wish to add to your friends list and send a request by selecting "Friend Request":

4). There is also an option to send a "Whisper" to the player:

*** PLEASE NOTE: That when sending a message via "Whisper" web links and ".com, .org and etc...", will not reveal themselves accurately. Therefore, creative messaging needs to be executed. Example: rather than typing TGHQ.ORG, a (space) will need to be included (TGHQ . ORG). Or another option is to spell out "dot" (TGHQ "dot" ORG).

5). If player is a Battle.net user, utilize the option to send a Battle.net friend request. This is done by selecting "Player Actions" and then "Send Battle.net Friend Request":

But once the goal is achieved, to become friends with the player, then the communication about TG and information regarding the application process can be described in detail.  Once you start a dialogue within the game communication system, asking if they use DISCORD (and sending them a DM) might assist with the following messaging process.

REMEMBER, YOU ARE THERE TO GET NAMES TO RECRUIT:

Some players will add you as a friend immediately, while others might take a few days.  The first message you send is as follows (or something similar):
