Hello Tactical Gaming!

On November 13th - November 15th, the Public Relations Office is running a charity stream over the weekend to support the USO.

If you like streaming, enjoy moderating, get hyped by raising money for a good cause then please apply HERE.  This is a great opportunity to support an organization that support military service members and families across the world.

This is also a great opportunity to get involved with the community and have an awesome time streaming and gaming.

We will be live ON Tactical Gaming Twitch Channel
(Look out for Discord Announcements when they go live!)

All members and staff are invited to Join and Participate!

Oh, and we would be remiss in noting that USO has a matching donation from November 14th - December 31st where Coca-Cola will match every dollar donated up to $35,000.  So, not only does a dollar really matter, it will actually equal $2 dollars.

GET HYPED.

I think you spelled TG KrizZz wrong on the pushup part.  That is not supposed to be my name.  🤣

As a lot of you know Covid has hit every country pretty hard. Troops stationed all over the world are seeing their Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities close. This leads to the troops deployed and separated away from their families with little or no access to things like internet, exercise equipment, donated supplies and more. Most of the time these MWR stations that make this possible are run by volunteers from the USO. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the USO I encourage you to get familiar here USO . During times like this even though the MWR buildings are closed for safety, the USO volunteers are not off the job. You can see them all over even in combat zones outdoors hosting events to lift the spirits of the troops. Every service member knows first hand that being separated is hard and the best thing to do to keep your mind off of things is to stay busy and utilize your USO and MWR center. Since 1941 the USO has been making that happen. The morale of our servicemen and women all over can be the difference in any challenge home or abroad. Arming our volunteers with the funds that they need to keep those troops in the fight is crucial. Our brave volunteers from the USO are out there also sacrificing their time away from their loved ones and giving back every way that they can. Lets show our support from home by giving them the attention they deserve. I encourage you all to donate. For those that cannot donate that does not mean you cannot show your support by tuning in and being active in the chat. STREAMERS!!!! I encourage you to think outside of the box on this one and come up with something special. Thank you again PRO for doing this. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. To all of the donors, streamers and organizers that are responsible for making this possible thank you in advance. This means a lot to our active troops. Thank you @Senile Sarge for having the drive, passion and motivation to put something like this together. Thank you @TG KrizZz for all of the push ups I hope to see you do. I will match them!!!!

I fondly remember going to the USO when I was in the military, in California. I was from Texas so had no friends or family there. The USO would put on dances and dinners, and you could go there and just 'Hang out'. It was a place I NEEDED when I first went in at the age of 17, and away from home, not the first time but the first time where I was gone a LONG TIME.
