What It's Like To Be...

Chief of Staff for Tactical Adventures

Tactical Gaming Presidential Medal

Hello TG and welcome to the thirteenth and last episode of a this series. In this series, titled 'What It's Like To Be..", I will be interviewing members of TG throughout the ranks, ranging from squad members right up to the VP. As well as interviewing CoC members, I will also be taking the chance to interview certain members in support positions. This series will be published on a monthly basis.

Today I am interviewing the big cheese, Senile Sarge. Chief of Staff for Tactical Adventures!

TG SmokeyB: What attracted you to this position?

Senile Sarge: As a gamer, I play a lot of Open World, MOBA's and MMO's so it was great to be able to join the team over at Tactical Adventures. Obviously, we tried this before with Tactical Sports, but with the help of League of Legends, we were able to make a name that allows us to create a spot for games that don't fit into Tactical Warfare but our community wants to play.  Being able to bring some unique games to the community is what attracted me the most to this position.  When Diablo comes, I have done my part.  ;)

TG SmokeyB: You've been in your position of Chief of Staff since 2018. What is the main reason for staying in the position?

Senile Sarge: To watch the Franchise achieve greatness.  The hardest part of the TA thus far is finding the right games to help us get movement forward.  I truly want to see the success of TA because most of the games that fit into the TA structure have unbelievably large communities that support the titles and there is a competitive spirit around most.

TG SmokeyB: Can you tell us the best highlight while serving as a CoS?

Senile Sarge: The challenges of building the Franchise is the biggest highlight.  There is never a dull moments associated with building something new.  The other highlight for me as the Tactical Adventures Chief of Staff is watching League of Legends continue to be successful as a Legion.  The game released in 2009 and we continue to get recruits daily.  This is a true testament to the leadership and members inside of the Legion.  It is great to be part of something so special.

TG SmokeyB: What attracted you to TG when you first joined?

Senile Sarge: Being part of the military when I joined, I wanted something that promoted the idea of communication, teamwork and structure.  This made fitting into the organization much easier for me.  Once I became part of the organization, it is the virtual friendships that has kept me here.  To know that we are all one community building a special place that everyone is part of.

TG SmokeyB: I imagine you are busy with been the Chief of Staff of Tactical Adventures. What is it about being a CoS that you love?

Senile Sarge: The members.  No questions it is why I am still in this organization to begin with.  If I can help push things in a direction that positively impacts the members, then it is why I am here.

TG SmokeyB: Can you tell me a little more about your TG history?

Senile SargeIt is a long list and not sure you would read it all.  I have been lucky to fill almost all the positions across Tactical Gaming at one point or another.  Each has had a different impact on me personally and professionally.  Tactical Gaming has had a huge impact on me throughout my life.  For those that want to know where I have been, my profile is the best place to find the details.  Like everyone here, I just stepped up when others needed me and luckily have had alot of great opportunities.

TG SmokeyB: Just for fun. If you where having your last meal tomorrow, what would it be?

Senile Sarge: No questions it would be the most expensive steak I could find.  If they were out, it would simply be a pepperoni pizza.....

Thank you very much @Senile Sarge for taking part in this interview and been the last person to take part in this series.

This series has been going on for a year and it has been brilliant learning about different members in Tactical Gaming. To all those loyal readers who have kept up with the series, i give you my most heart felt thanks.

A new series is coming soon that will focus on members of TG, but more as a gamer then a member of our community.

This series may return in the future, but for now, this is it.

MANY THANKS AGAIN FOR READING THIS ARTICLE THAT HAS LASTED A YEAR
