A Salute to Our Essential Workers

Thank you. To others who are in the same situation as myself working a lot of hours to ensure that society can function, I salute you as well. Please stay safe. 

Cheers, my 25 hour shift the other day, 0700 21/4 - 0800 22/04 was bloody awful!

Thanks, being a sales associate at a grocery store has been stressful all of us for not having the items that customers want. I work in the electronics/wireless department and even though the state (MI) doesn't consider our department essential, we find a way to prove that we are essential (People need computers for working at home, The Xbox One can be used as a DVR etc.) and when needed we go help the stock team put stuff on the shelves. If I can get a customer a game or get their phone working or get them a new phone to keep in touch with their family and friends them i'm a happier person as a result.

Major love to all the front line folks, be safe while you take care of those that need it.  I am a rear guard worker in auto parts helping to keep the delivery vehicles running and other essentials able to get to work.

I work for a chemical company. We make hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and many other comercial and residential chemicals. I can tell you the volume of product we are making and shipping out is unprecedented. We have had to change our bottles because the bottle manufacturers couldn’t keep up. We ran out of alcohol and bouts truck loads from Jack Daniels (not drinking alcohol but who knew they made isopropyl??) it’s been crazy!!!!
