    Medal of Honor

    Tactical Gaming Presidential Medal

    This is the highest meritorious award bestowed upon Tactical Warfare members.

     

    The Medal of Honor is awarded to a person who, while a member of Tactical Warfare, distinguishes himself or herself by self-sacrifice so conspicuous as to clearly distinguish the individual above his or her comrades.

     

    Each recommendation for the award of this decoration will be considered on the standard of extraordinary merit and must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance.

    Distinguished Service Cross Medal

    Tactical Gaming Vice Presidential Medal

    This is the second-highest meritorious award bestowed upon Tactical Warfare members.

     

    The Distinguished Service Cross is awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity within Tactical Warfare, distinguishes himself or herself by extraordinary dedication, on or off the battlefield, but which does not justify the award of a Medal of Honor.

     

    The act or acts of dedication must have been so notable and have involved self-sacrifice so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades.

     

    This award can be recommended by anyone, but must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance.

    Silver Star Medal

    Tactical Gaming Chief of Staff Medal

    The Silver Star is awarded to a person who, while serving in any capacity within Tactical Warfare, is cited for gallantry while engaged in action on the battlefield.

     

    The required gallantry, while of a lesser degree than that required for award of the Distinguished Service Cross, must nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction.

     

    This award can be recommended by anyone, but must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance.

    Bronze Star Medal

    Tactical Gaming Chief of Staff Medal

    The Bronze Star Medal is awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity within Tactical Warfare, distinguished himself or herself on or off the battlefield, by heroic or meritorious achievement or service.

     

    The required heroism or achievement, while of a lesser degree than that required for award of the Silver Star, must nevertheless have been performed with marked distinction.

     

    This award can be recommended by anyone, but must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance.

    Legion of Merit Medal

    Outstanding Recruiter Award

    The Legion of Merit is awarded for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.

     

    Performance of duties normal to the rank, division, specialty or assignment, and experience of an individual is not an adequate basis for this award.

     

    Service should be in the nature of a special requirement or of an extremely difficult duty performed in an unprecedented and clearly exceptional manner.

     

    However, justification of the award may accrue by virtue of exceptionally meritorious service in a succession of important positions.

     

    This award can be recommended by anyone, but must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance.

    Medal of Excellence

    Tactical Gaming Achievement Medal

    The Medal of Excellence is awarded to recognize an individual who continuously displays consistent and reliable service within his or her Division.

     

    While there is no specific time threshold to qualify for the Medal of Excellence, but no earlier than the sixth month of continuous service within TW, the Division Officer shall ensure the service to be honored merits the special recognition afforded by this award.

     

    The principal requirement for this award is indisputable exemplary performance in all phases of communication, training, leadership, and competition.

     

    This award can be recommended by anyone, but must be approved by that Division's Corps Commander prior to issuance.

    Commander’s Award Medal

    Tactical Gaming Achievement Medal

    The Commander’s Award recognizes an individual’s exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in influencing the evolution, advancement, and well being of his or her Tactical Warfare Battalion in a positive manner, throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active Tactical Warfare military service.

     

    Qualifying periods of service include each twelve months completed or, for first award only, a continuous period of six months.

     

    It is awarded by the member’s Commanding Officer in the name of the member’s Battalion.

     

    This award must be approved by the Division Officer prior to issuance by the member's Commanding Officer.

    Leadership Award Medal

    Tactical Gaming Medal

    The Leadership Award recognizes an individual who has consistently displayed a conspicuous ability to lead troops on or off the battlefield, through efforts which are sustained, direct and of a consequential nature, and which contributed to the betterment of the individual’s Battalion.

     

    The individual’s acts of leadership must be sustained throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active Tactical Warfare military service.

     

    It is awarded by the member’s Commanding Officer in the name of the member’s Battalion.

     

    This award must be approved by the Division Officer prior to issuance by the member's Commanding Officer.

    Instrumental Leaders Award Medal

    Order of the Purple Heart

    The Instrumental Leaders Award recognizes two individuals’ exemplary behavior, efficiency, fidelity and leadership in directly influencing the success their Squad’s recipience of the Combat Operations Award. 

     

    It is awarded to the Squad Leader and Squad Assistant who were instrumental in contributing to his or her Squad’s recipience of the Combat Operations Award, for the same specified qualifying period of time as the aforementioned award, not less than one calendar month. 

     

    To qualify for this award, the Squad Leader and Squad Assistant must have participated in a minimum of one half of his or her Squad’s clan matches during the qualifying period of the award. 

     

    It is awarded by the member’s Commanding Officer in the name of the member’s Battalion.

     

    This award must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance by the member's Division Staff.

    Distinguished Operative Award Medal

    Tactical Gaming Training Office Achievement Medal

    The Distinguished Operative Award recognizes an individual’s exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in directly influencing the success his or her Squad’s recipience of the Combat Operations Award. 

     

    It is awarded to the one Squad Member who, as determined by his or her Squad Leader and Squad Assistant, was instrumental and/or most influential in contributing to his or her Squad’s recipience of the Combat Operations Award, for the same specified qualifying period of time as the aforementioned award, not less than one calendar month. 

     

    To qualify for this award, the Squad Member must have participated in a minimum of one half of his or her Squad’s clan matches during the qualifying period of the award. 

     

    It is awarded by the member’s Commanding Officer in the name of the member’s Battalion.

     

    This award must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance by the member's Division Staff.

    Combat Operations Award Medal

    Tactical Gaming Public Relations Achievement Medal

    The Combat Operations Award recognizes a Squad that demonstrates indisputable, quantifiable exemplary performance in all aspects of clan matches, battles and warfare. 

     

    It is awarded to the one Squad in each Tactical Warfare Battalion which has earned the best overall record in competitive clan matches against external opposition, for a specified period of time not less than one calendar month.

     

    To qualify for this award, the Squad Members of the recipient Squad must have participated in a minimum of one (1) clan match during the qualifying period of the award. 

     

    It is awarded by the Squad’s Commanding Officer in the name of the Battalion to all eligible, qualifying squad members per the requirements outlined above.

     

    This award must be approved by Tactical Warfare Command prior to issuance by the member's Division Staff.

    Achievement Medal

    Tactical Gaming Valor Medal

    The Achievement Award recognizes an individual who has consistently and continuously displayed improvement in all aspects of battlefield operations, training, and weapons skills.

     

    The individual’s improvement must be sustained throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted active Tactical Warfare military service. 

    It is awarded by the member’s Commanding Officer in the name of the member’s Battalion.

     

    This award must be approved by the Division Officer prior to issuance by the member's Commanding Officer.

    Good Conduct Medal

    Outstanding Volunteer Award

    The Good Conduct Medal is awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in active Tactical Warfare membership.

     

    It is awarded on a selective basis to each member who distinguishes himself from among his or her fellow members by their exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity throughout a specified period of continuous enlisted activity inside of Tactical Warfare.

     

    Qualifying periods of service include each six months of active duty completed with no derogatory warnings inside of the community.

    This award may not be issued to members that are currently serving as "On Leave" members.
